Tesla-style screens
A tall 10–15" touchscreen that replaces the whole center stack. Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, and on a lot of trucks the climate controls move onto the screen. Made for specific vehicles, so the fit is factory-looking.

What's good
Huge screen. Looks built-in. Climate and vehicle settings on screen where the unit supports your car. Cheaper per inch of screen than any name-brand radio.
What to know
Almost all are made by smaller overseas brands. Software can lag or need updates. Sound quality out of the box is only a little better than stock unless you add an amp. I'll tell you which brands hold up and which to skip.
Trucks with Bose or Active Noise Cancellation (some 2014+ GM) need extra parts. Tell me your trim and I'll check before you order.
